Meet the Team
Mark Kahn |
It is true, I am the CEO and Chief Enthusiast of all things electric machines. But I am really not alone in that regard. My name is Mark Kahn, and I'm just some corporate exec from NYCity and a regular dad who happens to love the outdoors and extreme vehicles and who fell in love with electric bikes, vehicles and machines a few years back For so many reasons, but mostly because they make me smile and I knew they would make everyone smile as well... I took some of my digital marketing experience, weekend warrior experience and a dash of business know how, to bring you the best of Electric Extreme Machines. We take great pride in being the biggest, best, most reliable place to enjoy these multi-purpose machines and vehicles. Trust me, they will make you, your kid, your friend, or anyone who can smile (my dog Roxy has a big old grin riding around) smile. |
Rick Wilson |
My name is Rick Wilson and I've known Mark Kahn for a little over 10 years now. During that time Mark led the buyout of my company (which I eventually bought back after Mark had left) and I always wanted the chance to work with Mark again. When Mark approached me about EEM, I was immediately in and wanted to help the world find Electric Extreme Machines. My background is in ecommerce, I run Miva Merchant a popular ecommerce platform by day, but working with Mark gives me a chance to put into practice all the things I've learned over the years about selling online, while solving the biggest problem of selling online, which is having something cool to sell. |
Chris White |
I've never subscribed to the notion that a bicycle was meant to be simply pedaled. My name is Chris White and I'm the CTO of Electric Extreme Machines. As a teenager in the 80's and 90's I spent just about every day on a bike, engaging in what was the hottest cycling trend of the time: BMX freestyling. Born in the skateparks of California with the help of Bob Morales and popularized in the early years by guys like Eddie Fiola (who rode in the movie RAD and alongside Kevin Bacon in Quicksilver), it took the USA and the world by storm in the 80's and 90's. Suddenly bikes were getting modified to include all manner of hardware never before seen, to enable riders to do wild ground tricks and soar to incredible contorted heights on ramps. It gave me an enormous appreciation of bicycles, balance, gravity, and year-round scabbed knees and elbows. I'm almost 40 years old now, and though the willingness to contort myself and have constantly bruised appendages has faded, the thrill I get from doing things with a bicycle that are new and exciting has not wavered one bit. It's that sense of 2 wheeled joy that brought me to EEM and I hope to share that with all of our customers by providing them with the best, most useful, and most exciting non-traditional vehicle experiences possible. |
